Capturing Kara & Wes’s intimate Rocky Mountain elopement was definitely what dreams are made of!I found these two back here in the midwest and I was head over heels when they decided the traditional wedding wasn’t for them and that they wanted to elope instead!
We met up in Estes Park, Colorado , right outside the national park where they were to tie the knot! Estes park is so cute and full of fun things to do for a getaway if you want to take a break from the mountains for a day! We stayed there during our trip and had the best time. On wedding day, all the vendors came to Kara & Wes’ cabin to deliver the florals, food, and makeup hair services. They worked with a well known elopement planning service in the US named Simply Eloped to help take care of all these details such as an officiant, permits, and vendors local to the area, so the day was a piece of cake. We started the adventure with a first look outside of their cabin and then dashed off into the park to get them married at their reserved location at the 3m curve.
There they had a beautiful and intimate ceremony amongst the hills of Colorado . We celebrated by exploring the whole park together and grabbing shots of them all over the park and mountains.
